dc.description.abstract	Purpose of this paper is to review the literature of Agent Based Systems. This research area became popular since 1980’s within Distributed Artificial Intelligence domain. Even though, it is a new emerging research area many research studies are performed regarding to its theory and practice. Moreover, there are many debates regarding to definition of Agency notion. By this review issues regarding to this notion is tried to be clarified by mostly citing reviews of Jennings et. al. and Jennings and Wooldridge. With this respect, from theory to practice every aspect of agency is tried to be explained.	en_US
